I read that article, and as with so much of the stuff Slate inexplicably chooses to run, I thought it was ill-advised. The author has a bone to pick, and that fact means he can’t write about the subject with any validity. I mean, read that second paragraph.

No, it simply makes you a reasonable person to not give a lick about the daughter of President until she becomes president herself.
The more I think about the “show your spirit on Chelsea’s bloodied carcass” lline, the more it shifts from colorful violence-talk to necrophilia.
i agree with that, benji, but i did enjoy the personal story as entertainment.
